i did the same thing with email over the summer. for a while, beth and i didn't have a computer and we were sometimes too tired after work to go to the library to use their computers. i think i went a week or so without checking email and it felt great.

even when we got a computer after a couple months passed, i only used it once every couple days. unplugging from the digital world is a great feeling sometimes. i am currently "plugged in" to a large degree ... it isn't good and i need to take steps to get away from it a lot more
